Rules & Regulations

The Australian Alumni Treasure Hunt is organised by the Australian High Commission and supported by the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MAAC).

Participation is open to all Australian alumni.

Participation is limited to the first 25 teams. The entry fee is RM280 per team.

Entry fees will entitle each participant to take part in the Hunt, goodies bag, t-shirt, buffet breakfast and lunch.

A team shall be made up of a minimum of two (2) persons and a maximum of four (4) persons. At least two participants in a team MUST be Australian alumni.

Other pertinent information will be disclosed during a briefing session that will be held prior to flag-off.
Route
The walk and ride treasure hunt will be flagged-off at the Australian High Commission, 6 Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur and the End Station will be at the Top Hat Restaurant, 7 Jalan Kia Peng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.
(Note: Participants are encouraged to park their vehicles at the Top Hat Restaurant and walk to the Australian High Commission on that Sunday morning as parking is not available within the High Commission grounds)
Indemnity
Every participant agrees to indemnify and keep the Organiser from and against any and all actions, claims, expenses or demands in respect of death or injury to participants, however caused in or arising out of or in connection to this entry and notwithstanding that the same may be contributed to or caused by negligence of the participant.
The Organisers decline responsibility for breach of any laws and regulations. Participants shall have no claim against the Organisers, the Federal and State Governments of Malaysia, their respective officials, their servants, their representatives and agents. All participants in a team are required to sign the indemnity form attached to the entry form.
Rights of the Organiser
The Organiser may, in its absolute discretion, refuse any entry without providing reasons. The Organiser may also cancel or postpone the event without due notice in the event of bona fide unforseen circumstances. No claims of any kind arising from abandonment, cancellation or postponement of the event shall be entertained.
