About the Australian Education International
As part of the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR), AEI is an essential component of the national education strategy.
AEI is the name under which the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) works to develop and support the Australian international education and training industry through a wide range of activities, products and services.
As an Australian Government initiative, AEI is unique in the industry, impartially representing all sectors while helping to generate cross-sectoral alliances and working through industry-generated relationships.
AEI offices are managed by Counsellor and usually are located within Australian Diplomatic Missions in around 30 locations worldwide and act as bases for a wide range of promotional and support activities enhancing the image of Australia as an education and training destination.
AEI Malaysia is responsible for education matters in Brunei. Our office is located on Level 2 (entrance level) of the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.
